RESULTS

Of note: The top two finishers in the 50 miler sprinted neck and neck to the finish, although the chip times show that winner, Christopher Denucci, bested second place Reed Breuer by 15 seconds.

First Auburn finisher was ageless Tim Twietmeyer (M60 age division) who bested his next age division competitor by one hour and 29 minutes! Be sure to come to Central Square around 3:30 pm on Saturday, April 13 where Tim’s and equestrian/Tevis Cup great Hal Hall’s accomplishments will be celebrated with a dedication of their engraved tiles in the Endurance Zone (by the brick pillar).

Updatd info: Christian Finkbeiner, who now lives in Reno, but he grew up in Auburn and is the son of local ultra-running phenom Bill Finkbeiner, must also be considered as a top Auburn finisher. He finished in 8:12:51 for 3rd in the M25 age division and 18th overall!
