Shannon Weil, longtime Tevis Cup and Western States Endurance Run volunteer, activist and visionary was inducted into the Sacramento Running Association’s (SRA) prestigious Hall of Fame on Saturday evening, Feb. 16, 2019. The induction was held at the popular and well attended SRA Hall of Fame /Annual Achievement Award Banquet at the Holiday Inn Downtown Plaza. Her induction acceptance speech was applauded by Banquet guests who included the City of Auburn’s Endurance Capital Committee members, participants and Board of Governors members from both the Western States Endurance Run and the Tevis Cup, and many others.
