The City of Auburn’s Endurance Capital Committee hosted this successful gathering of both runners and equestrians to celebrate the installation of two tiles honoring Hal Hall (Tevis Cup) and Tim Twietmeyer (Western States Endurance Run) in the Endurance Zone of Central Square. The program included introductions by ECC members, comments from both Hal and Tim, and additional comments from attendees. All shed light on the depth of the contributions of these two incredible athletes – way more information than can be summarized on their commemorative tiles (shown below).

Following the ceremony, which included delicious food and beverages from the Auburn Natural Food Company, the crowd adjourned to the Auburn Running Company to  participate in the podcast featuring Hal and Tim. It was live-streamed from the store and a taped version of it will be posted here soon!
